Congratulations to the Muslims in the Blessing of Mawlid Al Nabiy
Dear
brothers/sisters:
As Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh
The
Almighty Lord of the World graced us with the ability to continue our spiritual
monthly newsletters and messages, Shukr Wa-AlHamdulillah. However, the number of
e-mail messages has increased very rapidly and continue coming through
individuals and groups. Thank you for all your suggestions, encouragement and
your willingness to continue receiving such religious and spiritual Islamic
messages. For those who are interested in receiving the monthly free newsletter,
please inform us, please send us a complete address if you want to receive it
through the mail, otherwise, you may read it through our website or send us your
e-mail and we will Insha’Allah, e-mail the newsletter to you. Also, our
special thanks and appreciation to all who took the time to forward these
messages from their e-mail accounts, and also to those who are interested to be
one amongst us, or who informed us about the change of their e-mail addresses,
and we kindly request from those who sent us e-mail addresses of others to
ensure that the latter are interested in receiving our messages. Otherwise,
please directly circulate our messages among your own circles of acquaintances.
The
monthly prayer time-table, Insha’Allah will be posted in KCIK’s website for each month and we encourage our readers,
especially chaplains/officers of any institution to print the prayer time-table
and distribute it to inmates in their faculty. Insha’Allah, the Center will
try to post the monthly Salat time-table for other locations and/or lands. Our
special thanks to you all, and may Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) reward those
who serve Him, Ameen.
Individuals
having Internet access may visit KCIK’s
website for more information about the activities of the Center. A sister
wrote,“I visited the website today and find it is very impressive. This is
nice.” May Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) reward you with goodness for your
efforts, Ameen. If you wish to submit Islamic questions, we will Insha’Allah
try to seek an answer. We kindly request complete quotations or references if
possible. For those who would like to use the publications of the AL-KUFA
Newsletter or our posted material on the website of the Center for some useful
purpose, you are welcome to do so, but please quote this source to avoid
copyright infringements. Please also try to contact other Islamic Institutions
for help because many special requests are beyond our capacity. Finally, we
welcome any articles you would like us to consider for publication. All
articles, letters, Islamic questions, etc. that are sent will become the
property of KCIK and will not be returned to senders. Those who sent or will
send articles to be published, please send us full titles and addresses with
telephone numbers. We cannot guarantee that an article or letter will be
published in a particular issue of the AL-KUFA
Newsletter and/or the monthly messages due to space limitations. We also reserve
the right to do any necessary editing. Articles signed represent the author's
opinion and not necessarily the opinion of the administration and/or staff of KCIK,
or the Editors of the AL-KUFA
Newsletter and/or the monthly messages.
Many
brothers and sisters continued requesting from us dua’as, especially for the
loved ones who departed from them or those are ill. There are other human beings
who are harassed, abused, tortured and murdered, and who suffer at the hands of
those who are ignorant of the basic principles of humanity, while promoting
themselves as leaders and saviors of the land and/or community. Such innocent
ones, especially the children, women and older men, suffer hardships having
committed no crime. We have them in our Dua’as and in our hearts. May Allah (Subhanahu
Wa Ta’Ala) grant our requests to ease their lives. It is the responsibility
for those who lead (administrations of governments, judicial systems,
educational institutions, executive authorities as well as individuals) to
achieve peace and to implement justice to all. Any kind of injustice should be
eradicated and no innocent individual should be punished. There is peace in
remembering Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) and worshipping Him. Allah (Subhanahu
Wa Ta’Ala) loves nothing better than that His servants ask from Him. O Lord,
accept our Dua’a, Ameen. The Glorious Qur'an says,"Verily, with (every)
difficulty (there) is ease (relief)." 94:6
For
those who are interested in marriage, we hope that they will Insha'Allah choose
the right way of seeking a partner according to the law of Islam. If you have a
matrimonial advertisement, or wish to be involved with a group meeting, be a
member of KCIK or seeking
professional opportunities or participate in KCIK activities, please visit KCIK’s
website or contact the Center.
Those
who are in difficulties, as well as those facing hardships and in need, please
repeat [(Inna Lillah Wa Inna Ilaihi
Raji-oon) (We belong to Allah and to
Him we will return)]. The Center is open to anyone in need. For those who
work in human aid, please remember the needy Muslims brothers and sisters in
many lands. We pray for all to be guided along the right path, Ameen. The
Glorious Qur'an says,"Perhaps my Lord will guide me in the right
path." 38:22
We
extend our sincere thanks to all who contacted the Center to know about Islamic
Centers and/or Mosques in certain cities. Insha’Allah, we will be able to
provide them with this information. Also, for those who asked questions, we will
Insha’Allah give the best advice
according to the
Glorious Qur'an and the Sunnah.
Jazak Allah Khair for
sharing with us. O’ Lord, guide us to the right path, Islam, Ameen. The
Glorious Qur'an says,“Remembrance of Allah certainly brings comfort to all
hearts.” 13:28
Our
brothers and sisters started their e-mails with the Name of
Allah,“BISM-ILLAH-IR-RAHMAN-lR-RAHIM” and their greetings,“Assalamu
Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh”, and they ended their letters with the
greeting,“Wa Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh.” Dear fellow
Muslims, please also ensure that if you send us e-mail messages and files, that
they are virus-free. It is very difficult for us to cope with such problems and
disruptions.
I
recently came upon your website - I am interested in receiving your newsletter.
How much does it cost to subscribe? Also,
I have a questionnaire that I am sending out. This information, Insha'Allah will
be greatly beneficial for those sisters who need guidance in educating their
children, their grandchildren, and the Muslim community itself.
1.
How do you teach your child about Islam?
2.
Have you created any innovative ways to teach your children - such as
games, etc?
3.
How do you teach your child about Islamic morals and manners?
4.
How do you keep Islam alive in your home?
Jazak
Allah Khairun for your assistance in this matter. Their is no truth except
Islam. “And whosoever fears Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) and keeps his duty
to Him, He will make a way for him to get out (from every difficulty)” [al-Talaaq
65:2]
Many
people in our country know Islam as a religion that is against peace and the
sciences. However, our people call
themselves Muslims, although many
of them don’ t believe in some principles of Islam. I don’t want to accuse
them, because they don’t have enough knowledge and information to know about
Islam, or have the wrong information about it, but they don’t take interest in
Islam (to learn more about). We have some people who carry an inexact knowledge
of Islam, because they were taught
blindly by some mullahs (priests). They haven’t any power to solve up-to-day
questions in the branch of religion. Besides, they can’t prove the existence
of God, the life after the death, or other aspects about Islam. This is the
bitter truth.
My
purpose: I’d like to take part in your Kufa Center of Islamic Knowledge, and I
need to practice with you da’wah. Thank you.
I
agree we must look into ourselves. Looking into "our selves" also
includes knowing and having a firm relation with Islam. Not being aware of
enemies; tactics is one of our greatest weakness, while Allah (Subhanahu Wa
Ta’Ala) and His Nabiy have given us detailed knowledge. If we ignore such
information, and do exactly opposite to the teachings and orders of Allah (Subhanahu
Wa Ta’Ala), we deserve what we are getting. We must hold tight to the rope of
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) (the Qur’an), and be well informed and educated.
We are also responsible because of our own ignorance and apathy.
Whatever
we are enjoying today is the gift of the Almighty Lord. It is the knowledge and
capability Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) bestowed on human beings. People from
various areas, nationalities, religions etc. all have contributed to this. They
would have not been able to do so if Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) had not given
them knowledge, capability and motivation, etc. Muslims have spread knowledge
for Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) for centuries. The Qur’an lifted them from
dust to the skies. However, we are now at the bottom pit, and we speak the same
language as other blind ones speak. We should not separate the Masjid from the
world. The Masjid is the center of all activities. The poet Iqbal has rightly
said that when you separate the two there would be injustice and terror.
Islam
is peace, and there can not be peace without Islam. The word Islam is derived
from salam meaning peace. Islam does not prohibit anyone from practicing his/her
religion. However, it prevents people from committing injustices. The Muslim
countries are suffering from tremendous ills because of leaving Qur’an. Had
they followed they it, they would be ruling the world.
Many
wrote to us, sending their
blessings for our efforts and wishing us success. We are blessed to receive
their comments and we are thankful for their participation in our efforts. The AL-KUFA
Newsletter, the Monthly Message and the Reply Messages are mailed/e-mailed free
of charge. Insha’Allah, when we are able to use on Arabic wordprocessor, we
will insert the Arabic’s words and their transliteration and English
translation. One Muslim wrote,“I read an article about Salat: “M’eraj-Al-Mumineen”,
this was very interesting to me and informative. I was never able really to
understand M’eraj until I read that article. Insha Allah I am trying to
improve my salat, my devotion to Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala), and I need more
information on the subject if you have any. I need all the information on Salat
that you have, Insha’Allah. Jazakallah Khair.” Salat is mentioned in the
Glorious Qur'an five times, for Allah Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala)’s
pleasure.” Everything carries some price, and the price of Paradise is Salat.
It serves as a light. Insha’Allah,
The Center will publish articles such as Salat for the Website and the Dawah
Program. Also, the Center published an article on Salat in the Newsletter AL-KUFA
and in the Monthly Reply. O’ Lord, reward those who acted righteously with goodness, blessings
that will pervade the atmosphere and fill the
earth and the heaven, Ameen.
To
know about the Kufa Center of Islamic
Knowledge (KCIK) and/or us, you may visit KCIK’s web site at www.kufa.org.
To send donations of any kind, including books, CDs, money to support this
mission, you may find KCIK’s
address on the editorial page. We are in need for a copy-machine for standard
and large size copier, with capabilities for making double-sided copies.
Insha'Allah, a (Mohsin) or (Mohsineen) will come forward and donate, making
every effort to help us in this regard (our existing copier that was donated has
broken). O' Lord, record our good deeds and leave us delighted with what they
have written down concerning them (good deeds), Ameen. The Glorious Qur'an
says,“And Allah gave them the reward in this world and the excellent reward of
the hereafter. Verily Allah loveth those who do good (to others). Whoever
intercedeth with a good intercession shall have a share therefrom.” 3:147
& 4:85. Jazakum Allah Khair (May
Allah Reward You With Goodness). Special thanks to our brothers and sisters who
donated toward the purchase of the land for the Center and for those who support
KCIK. May Allah (Subhanahu Wa
Ta’Ala) reserve a space for them in Heaven, Ameen. For those who have a
message that they would like to share with us, please send it via e-mail;
Insha’Allah, we may be able to insert such messages in the KCIK
web page, so that more people who visit this web site can benefit from it. With
the help of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) , we might succeed in spreading His
Word. Also, you may visit the KCIK Web
page for monthly Hadith Qudsi (Sacred). Thank you brothers and sisters, and may
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) reward all of you. Jazakum Allah Khair
(May Allah reward you with goodness).
Wa Assalamu
Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh
