Adl: Justice in Islamic

Justice is life and cruelty is the death of society

" Adl" means justice, equilibrium or balance. Justice also has several meanings such as rightfulness, lawfulness, fair retaliation or compensation, and  to treat fairly. " Adl" specifies that whenever individual is in a position to adjudicate a case between any two parties, he/she must do so with justice and fairness. The judge, should not discriminate between the two parties. On the Day of Judgement we all shall be treated equally for our virtues and sins. Then why should there be discrimination on earth? The Glorious Qur'an says,“Surely, Allah commands you to fulfill trust obligations toward those entitled to them and that when you judge between people, judge with fairness." 3:58

Islam, like other religions and humanistic belief, lays great emphasis on justice and how mankind should execute justice toward individuals, groups, communities,  and humanity at large. In order to bring justice to mankind so that they can live together in peace and to place everything in its proper place, the Glorious Qur'an  was revealed, and was exemplified by the actions of Nabiy Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Waalihi Wa Salam) who said,“An hour of justice is better than a year of Salat.”

Islam ensure equality and justice, and serve to improve the dignity of all human beings and to bring peace through justice. The Glorious Qur'an says,“He it is who sent down inner peace into the hearts of the believers that they might add faith to their faith." 48:4

The Mighty Lord of the World, Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala), commands mankind to maintain justice, kindness, and proper relations with each other, saying in Sura An-Nahl, 16:90,“Allah commands people to maintain justice, kindness, and proper relations.” He also bestows His Kindness on all His creatures and never does He oppress anybody, nor does He ever wish injustice for any of His creatures. As Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) says in Sura Ale Imran, 3:108,“Allah does not wish injustice for any of His creatures.” If people become truly familiar with Islamic guidance, they would be strongly inclined toward it. There is no misfortune that man encounters, which does not have with it some goodness which overpowers it.

He, the Mighty, the All-Wise, has created all His creatures and established a system of life— a cycle of cause and effect, and has set a particular line of action for every creature. He never discriminates between His creatures in as far as His expectations from them are concerned in regard to their obligations and responsibilities. Similarly, His reward or punishment is also based on justice for all. He has taken into consideration the respective capabilities and capacities of each creature in His commands and accordingly He has fixed proportionate punishment for each so that there is no partiality or injustice done to anyone of His creatures. It is reported,"The deed of justice performed by a leader for one day for his people is better than the deeds of the man who spends fifty or hundred years amongst his family members in the worship of Allah."

The Glorious Qur'an says,“Those who do not judge according to what Allah has revealed are unjust.”  5:45 To be just and to follow the path of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) is a difficult task. It is reported,"Bribing a judge into a decision in one's favor is a great disobedience to Allah.” Nabiy Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Waalihi Wa Salam) said,“Those who give bribes or take bribes are deprived of Allah's Mercy." The Glorious Qur'an says,“Believers, be steadfast for the cause of Allah and just in bearing witness. Let not a group's hostility cause you to  deviate from justice. Be just for it is closer to piety. Have fear of Allah. Allah is Well-Aware of what you do.” 5:8

In summary, Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) is Just, and the faith in the Justice of Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) helps to lay the foundation of justice in individual and collective lives. Whenever an individual prepares himself/herself to accept justice in his/her personal life with respect to any problem they might face today, this will result in some benefit tomorrow. However, man does not feel satisfied unless he/she receive some worldly benefit immediately. It is reported,“The supplication of a just leader is never refused." The Glorious Qur'an says,“Eat of the lawful and good things which Allah has provided for you and give thanks for His favours if it is He Whom you worship.” 16:114

A day, Insha’Allah, will come when justice will permeate the entire world. My Lord, You know my weakness in bearing oppressive burdens, my inability to gain victory over him who aims to be  against me. So I call upon Thee, my Lord.  I request my Master, and Thy beneficence, kindness, graciousness, and favor. May Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta'Ala) grant Blessings on Muslims, and give them the ability to attain what pleases Him, Ameen.

There is a land close to the expressway. The size of it is one  acre with two buildings. The price is $375,000.00. Also, there are three tracts of land of sizes 4, 3, and 35 acres. Two of them at Interstate spurs, and the third one at the Interstate. The prices are approximately $125,000.00, $95,000.00, and $50,000.00/acre, respectively.
