Reply to the Monthly Messages #18
Dear
brothers/sisters:
As Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh
The Almighty Lord
of the World graced us with the ability to continue our spiritual monthly
newsletters and messages, Shukr Wa-AlHamdulillah. However, the number of e-mail
messages has increased very rapidly and continue coming through individuals and
groups. Thank you for all your suggestions, encouragement and your willingness
to continue receiving such religious and spiritual Islamic messages.
The
newsletters and messages send in English, and the Center does not have other
fonts to other languages (with the exception of some cut and paste text). If
some received an e-mail with other fonts, it was not from us. Please inform us
and we will re-send our messages to you.
The
e-mail provider informs us that at present the time,“Your list currently has
almost 3000 names.” This number does not include individuals who receive our
monthly messages as a text directly. If you receive duplicate e-mail messages,
please inform us and we will Insha’Allah fix our e-mail lists. Insha’Allah,
we will try to send our monthly message and reply at the beginning of each
month, but if there is any delay, please excuse us. He is the One who allows us
to continue to spread His Word to the best of our ability, and We ask Him to
accept this small effort, Ameen.
For
those who are interested in receiving the free monthly newsletter, please inform
us, and send us a complete address if you want to receive it through the mail;
otherwise, you may read it through our website, or send us your e-mail and we
will Insha’Allah e-mail the newsletter to you. Also, our special thanks and
appreciation to all, individuals, Islamic institutions and missions who took the
time to forward these messages from their e-mail accounts or distribute the AL-KUFA
Newsletter, and also to those who are interested to be one amongst us, or
who informed us about the change of their e-mail or mail addresses. We kindly
request from those who sent us e-mail addresses of others to ensure that the
latter are interested in receiving our messages. Otherwise, please directly
circulate our messages among your own circles of acquaintances. You might want
to use the 'bcc' or 'blind carbon copy', because some people don't like their
addresses to be widely distributed.) For those who can't open attachments, we
will be glad to resend them as regular email messages.
For
the Momineen and Mominaat who want to donate toward the purchase of land for the
Center, please send your donation to Kufa
Center of Islamic Knowledge (KCIK) ; P.O. Box 11771; Roanoke, VA 24022-1771,
USA. May Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) reward you, and increase His gifts to you
with His blessings, Ameen. Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) has described the true
believers,“And they prefer this over their own selves, though their own lot be
poverty.” 59:9
There
is a land close to the expressway. The size of it is one acre with two
buildings. The price is $375,000.00. Also, there are three tracts of land of 4,
3, and 35 acres, two of them at Interstate spur, and the third one at the
Interstate. The price is approximately $125,000.00, $95,000.00, and
$50,000.00/acre, respectively. All of these properties are visible from the
Interstate. Insha'Allah, our brothers and sisters will donate to establish our
Center at one of these sites. “It is they who are truly guided.” May Allah (Subhanahu
Wa Ta’Ala) bless our planning efforts with a successful outcome, Ameen.
For
the Momineen and Mominaat who donated toward the purchase of land for the
Center, and/or supported the Center, may Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) gift them
houses in Heaven, Ameen. Insha’Allah, those who donated toward a place for the
Center, we will publish their donations in the future.
The
monthly prayer time-table, Insha’Allah, will be posted on KCIK’s website for each month. We encourage chaplains/officers of
any institution to please print the prayer time-table and distribute it to
inmates in their facility. Insha’Allah, the Center will try to post the
monthly Salat time-table for other locations and/or lands. If someone who
interested to receive the monthly Salat time-table, please let us know and
Insha’Allah, will send it to you. Nabiy Muhammad (Sallallahu Alayhi Waalihi
Wasalam) said,“Salat is the coolness of my eyes.” Our special thanks to you
all, and may Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) reward those who serve Him, Ameen.
Individuals
having Internet access may visit KCIK’s
website for more information about the activities of the Center. If you wish to
submit Islamic questions, we will Insha’Allah try to seek an answer. We kindly
request complete quotations or references if possible. For those who would like
to use the publications of the AL-KUFA
Newsletter or our posted material on the website of the Center for some useful
purpose, you are welcome to do so, but please quote this source to avoid
copyright infringements. Please also try to contact other Islamic Institutions
for help because many special requests are beyond our capacity. Finally, we
welcome any articles you would like us to consider for publication. All
articles, letters, Islamic questions, etc. that are sent will become the
property of KCIK and will not be
returned to senders. Those who sent or will send articles to be published,
please send us full titles and addresses with telephone numbers. We cannot
guarantee that an article or letter will be published in a particular issue of
the AL-KUFA Newsletter and/or the
monthly messages due to space limitations. We also reserve the right to do any
necessary editing. Articles signed represent the author's opinion and not
necessarily the opinion of the administration and/or staff of KCIK,
or the Editors of the AL-KUFA
Newsletter and/or the monthly messages.
Brothers
and sisters continue requesting from us dua’as for the loved ones who departed
from them (please recite Sura-Fatehah) and also for those are ill or are
separated from their families due to various reasons. We have them in our
Dua’as and in our hearts. May Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) grant our requests
to ease their lives. O Lord, accept our Dua’a, Ameen.
For
those who travel to serve Him and/or visit His house, or travel just for
themselves, let us pray together for their safe trips. May He help them and
grant them success in their goals and reward them for their efforts with good
deeds and His blessings, Ameen.
There
are other human beings who are harassed, abused, tortured and murdered, and who
suffer at the hands of those who are ignorant of the basic principles of
humanity, while promoting themselves as leaders and saviors of the land and/or
community. Such innocent ones suffer hardships, especially the children, women,
and older men, having committed no crime. It is the responsibility for those who
lead (administrations of governments, judicial systems, educational
institutions, executive authorities as well as individuals) to achieve peace and
to implement justice to all. Any kind of injustice should be eradicated, and no
innocent individual should be punished. There is peace in remembering Allah (Subhanahu
Wa Ta’Ala) and worshipping Him. Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala) loves nothing
better than that His servants ask from Him. The Glorious Qur'an
says,"Verily, with (every) difficulty (there) is ease (relief)." 94:6
For
those who are interested in marriage, we hope that they will Insha'Allah choose
the right way of seeking a partner according to the law of Islam. It is the duty
for such individual(s) to seek and research to find information about their
future partner. If you have a matrimonial advertisement, or wish to be involved
with a group meeting, be a member of KCIK, seek professional opportunities, or like to participate in KCIK’s activities, please visit KCIK’s
website or contact the Center.
Those
who are in difficulties, as well as those facing hardships and in need, please
repeat [(Inna Lillah Wa Inna Ilaihi
Raji-oon) (We belong to Allah and to
Him we will return)]. The
Center is open to anyone in need. For those who work in human aid, please
remember the needy Muslims brothers and sisters around the world. We pray for
all to be guided along the right path, Ameen. The Glorious Qur'an
says,"Perhaps my Lord will guide me in the right path."
38:22
We
extend our sincere thanks to all who contacted the Center to know about Islamic
Centers and/or Mosques in certain cities. Insha’Allah, we will be able to
provide them with this information. Also, for those who asked questions, we will
Insha’Allah give the best advice
according to the
Glorious Qur'an and the Sunnah.
Jazak Allah Khair for
sharing with us. O’ Lord, guide us to the right path, Islam, Ameen. The
Glorious Qur'an says,“Remembrance of Allah certainly brings comfort to all
hearts.” 13:28
Our
brothers and sisters started their e-mails with the Name of
Allah,“BISM-ILLAH-IR-RAHMAN-lR-RAHIM” and their greetings,“Assalamu
Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh”, and they ended their letters with the
greeting,“Wa Assalamu Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh.” Dear fellow
Muslims, please also ensure that if you send us e-mail messages and files, that
they are virus-free. Please read the e-mail you receive before you forward it
from your account to others. It is very difficult for us to cope with such
problems and disruptions.
Allah
(swt), the Creator of the Entire Universe, through His and blessings mercy, has
sent many Prophets (Messengers) to show mankind the most peaceful and
progressive path, i.e. Islam (meaning peace and submission to Allah (swt)). Each
and every cell in our bodies obeys the natural law of Allah (swt). Each and
every creation in nature from drops of water to the great stars, from trees to
herbs, obeys Allah (swt). Man has a problem. He thinks too much of himself. He
knows little, and claims to be a comprehensive the scholar and starts
interfering with the delicate balance in nature.
Islam
is a religion that is conformant with nature. All messengers of Allah (swt),
e.g. Adam, Abraham, Noah, Lot, Ishmael, Isaac, Moses, Jesus (Peace be upon all
of them) brought the same message, i.e., Islam.
However, their messages are either lost or corrupted. Fortunately, last and
final messenger of Allah (swt) as brought to us by Muhammad is well protected in
the Quran.
A
research project has begun which is looking to survey the financial needs of the
Muslims globally. Due to many restrictions, and legal complications for
establishing a 'Muslim' bank in the Non Muslim countries it has been suggested
that an 'Internet Bank' be set up to cater for the needs of the Muslims. Should
this project be successful facilities will be available to anyone who has a
telephone, or access to the Internet.
To
know about the Kufa Center of Islamic
Knowledge (KCIK) and/or us, you may visit KCIK’s web site at www.kufa.org
or e-mail us at al_kufa@hotmail.com. Our
main goal is to serve Muslims and mankind. To send donations of any kind,
including books, CDs, money to support this mission, you may find KCIK’s address on the editorial page. We are in need for a
copy-machine for standard and large size paper, with capabilities for making
double-sided copies. For those who have a message that they would like to share
with us, please send it via e-mail; Insha’Allah, we may be able to insert such
messages in the KCIK web page, so
that more people who visit this web site can benefit from it. With the help of
Allah (Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala), we might succeed in spreading His Word. Also, you
may visit the KCIK Web page for
monthly Hadith Qudsi (Sacred). Thank you brothers and sisters, and may Allah (Subhanahu
Wa Ta’Ala) reward all of you. Jazakum
Allah Khair (May Allah reward you
with goodness).
Wa Assalamu
Alaikum Wa Rahmatullah Wa Barakatuh
