Dua’a: Supplication
The Almighty Lord Says: “ Call Me I Will Reply (To Your Call) “

Dua’a literally means supplication or invocation or a call or plea solely to Allah ( Subhanahu Wa Ta’Ala ), requesting either blessing or cursing for someone who deserves it. Prayers and Dua’as are essential of all divine religions. It is a spoken prayer that is not to be confused with the obligatory prayer that a Muslim performs five times a day, or other prayers that an individual or may spontaneously recite or voice inwardly and silently. There are many additional dua’as that are recommended for Muslims to observe.
Prophet Muhammad ( Sallallahu Alayhi Waalihi Wasalam ) said: “ Dau’a is the essence of worship.”

The preaching and the guidance of the apostles will only avail those whose  minds and hearts are inclines toward the truth, and for those who are adamant, it shall be one of no use. The Glorious Qur’an says: “For verily thou can not make the dead to hear and the call, when they withdraw turning their backs. “ 30:25

An individual may also made dau’a as a personal petition for occasions of distress or at a time of loss.

He/she should remember, we are his, our duty should be nothing short of absolute submission to His Will; and we will return to him, which implies that we have proceeded from Him and that we are in our march toward Him and He is the destination. Prophet Muhammad ( Sallallahu Alayhi Waalihi Wasalam ) said: “ Supplication is a support for the true believer, a piller religion, and a light of the heaven and the earth. “The Glorious Qur’an says: “Tireth not man in praying for good, and if toucheth him any evil, then is he despaired, hopeless. And if We make him taste mercy from Us, after a distress hath toucheth him, certainly sayeth he: This is my due; and I deem not the Hour (of Reckoning) would ever be established: and if I bereturned unto my Lord, verily for me (is stored) with Him is (much of) the best; but certainly will We inform those who disbelieved of what they did, and certainly will make them taste of a hard chastisement. And when bestow We (Our) bounties on man, he turneth away, and withdraweth himself; and when toucheth him any distress, then aboundeth he in long prayers. “41:49-51

Holiness to Thee! One cannot diminish They Authority who joins others with Thee nor can one who is loath to meet Thee live forever in the world. How great is Thy Dignity. How mighty Thy Sovereignty. How strong Thy Power. How effective Thy Command.  [ To Be Continues Insha Allah ].

Let us pray together: “Your little servant is at Your courtyard; your miserable one is at Your courtyard; Your poor one is at Your courtyard; Your beggar is at Your Courtyard.
